Either way, they made up for it by discovering a huge rip in the space/time continuum. What happened to it, you say? People flocked in, tamed a fair amount of the land and learned that the strange creatures in Phlox could not only be communicated with, but controlled with the use of a simple device. They dubbed these creatures Pokemon; and the spherical contraptions that trapped their entities? Pokeballs. Step through the Pearly Gates, because Oz never looked so good!
